Overview
This policy explains how Pokaru collects, uses, shares, and retains information when you use the Pokaru website, application, account tools, and market interfaces. It is part of the Pokaru Terms of Service.
Information We Collect
Information You Provide
Depending on how you use Pokaru, we may collect:
- Email address and invite status.
- Username, profile color, and profile setup choices.
- Connected account addresses and account-provider identifiers.
- Support requests, feedback, comments, market ideas, or other content you submit.
- Legal acknowledgement records, including document version, timestamp, connected address, and hashed request metadata.
Market and Transaction Information
We collect information about orders, positions, payouts, refunds, account funding actions, transaction hashes, and related market activity. Some transaction information is public because it is recorded on a blockchain or visible through third-party infrastructure.
Usage and Device Information
We may collect logs and technical information needed to operate the service, including pages viewed, actions taken, device and browser details, approximate location derived from IP address, timestamps, error logs, and security events.
Blockchain Data
Blockchains are public record systems. Account addresses, transaction hashes, token transfers, order-related events, and settlement events may be publicly visible and may not be erasable by Pokaru. If you are concerned about public transaction history, do not submit blockchain transactions through Pokaru.
How We Use Information
Pokaru uses information to:
- Create and manage accounts.
- Display balances, positions, orders, activity, and market state.
- Prepare, submit, record, reconcile, and debug market transactions.
- Operate invite-only beta access, security checks, rate limits, and abuse prevention.
- Respond to support requests and user feedback.
- Analyze reliability, performance, and product usage.
- Comply with legal, tax, regulatory, security, and audit obligations.
How We Share Information
We may share information with service providers that help operate Pokaru, including authentication, wallet infrastructure, hosting, analytics, databases, monitoring, blockchain RPC, indexing, email, and support providers. These providers may process information only as needed to provide services to Pokaru or comply with law.
We may also share information if required by law, to protect Pokaru or users, to investigate misuse, in connection with a business transaction, or with your direction or consent.
Retention
We keep information for as long as needed to operate Pokaru, maintain records, resolve disputes, debug market activity, enforce our terms, and comply with legal obligations. Blockchain records may remain public indefinitely and cannot be deleted by Pokaru.
Your Choices
You can stop using Pokaru at any time. You may request access, correction, or deletion of certain off-chain account information, subject to legal, security, operational, and technical limits. We may need to retain records that are required for compliance, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or auditability.
Security
Pokaru uses technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system is perfectly secure. You are responsible for keeping your email, device, account provider, and connected account credentials secure.
Children
Pokaru is not for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that a user under 18 has provided information, we may delete off-chain account information where practical.
Changes
Pokaru may update this policy. If a change is material, Pokaru may ask you to review and accept the updated documents before continuing to trade.
